Thanks everyone. I'm totally surprised at that result. Found myself planning ahead for each manouvre, guess I'm learning a bit more each time. Slowly seems to be the secret.

Trish, thank you very much for the supply of coffee. Very much appreciated. How did you get on at the rallycross?

First things first

THANK YOU !!!! to John Mac, Ian McC, Joe Doran, Bonnie Phillips and Eamonn King especially when it got so wet at the end of the day..
Also to Myles O'Reilly for doing M.I. Steward.

The rain fecked everything else : going home it was hard to tell the difference between the canal and the road !. It also caused we'll go on/ we wont moments.
When I brought the trailer back, it had'nt rained in Blessington ( or Bray) all day !!!

Nobody was late ! From my time in Kerry, fellas work on Saturday mornings and events should go some way to accomodate them. To their credit, anyone concerned had advised me the week before and I was aware. No issue here !

I HATE laptops. It took about 30 minutes to clarify things on Sunday morning, and 2 hours to try and get them uploaded and posted. Gave up and e-mailed them to Piers in the end.
And a second thanks to Piers for the tests which seemed to hit the spot.
I'll try and talk Ronnie into a triangle at the Howard Wilde.

Finally awards. Damien I'll check about the expert thing ; but we knew on Saturday Guy had been moved up . Is veryone OK with Prize Vouchers for the next event ? If not please contact me on 087-6774967 and I'll arrange something else. I was just doing a bit of recession busting !

Finally: thanks to the competitors. Some of you are irrepressibly cheerful and positive, and I hope you did enjoy your day

Tim

Thank you Tim, It was definately a fun day. Barely noticed the rain at all. I had a ball. The vouchers are a great idea. Looking forward to the next one.

Thats good then, I was wondering why you were changed cos you started off the championship as a novice. Whats the story with the mini, it seemed to be going well yesterday until you couldn't get gears?

Was getting well pissed off with it. Have it sorted now. The slot washer on the flywheel sheered and allowing the flywheel to move on the crank, causing it to heat up and expand so that the primary gear go stuck on it. Rolling Eyes New washer and flywheel and she seems fine again.
