With around 110 members in the TDC it's always a struggle to get marshall's.
Why is this always an issue?

Damien, Competitor and Marshall.

Damien, Your the 'ideal' competitor.. Always Marshalling when your not racing (plus the bonus of a full family backup to help)..
A great example to all of us.. Many thanks to you & your family's sporting nature..

MARSHALLS WANTED

Damien,

It was always ever so.
Thanks for your thoughts, and I second Piers appreciation of Bonnie and the girls' ( in particular) assistance. They have got me out of a few holes over the last year.

In my 25 + years organising people were tending to the TV, and now the Playbox sitting on a couch. Then they wonder why life is boring and passing them bye !

So, to everyone else. Come along and compete or marshall. Its fascinating when the test trial and a race meeting is on at the same time ( as will happen on Sunday ).

Clerk of the Course contact is 087 - 6774967 to offer your services.

In anticipatory thanks

Tim Faulkner

The tests look like great fun and we are expecting a good entry for the penultimate round of the Beginners championships on Sunday. The top three, Jay Donegan,Keith Byrne and Ian Downey have a win apiece...........

We also have a few TDC members racing in Mondello on Sunday, Donal Arundel, Danny Calnan and Fergal Bowes will be fighting for the honour of top TDC dog in the ITCC series and my brother John will be doing his best to keep the rest of the Fiat Abarths behind him.

Another great days fun Smile Well done to Keith Byrne and many thanks to Timmy and all the marshals , we really do appreciate you standing there all day . Its a pity this is a not a 10 round championship...

Also congratulations to Donal Arundel who finished 3rd in the hotly contested ITCC race and to my brother John who finished 2nd in the Abarth race despite a few engine problems .....

Too right Trish, 10 rounds would be fantastic! Want to take that as a challenge Tim?? Another brilliant day. A big thank you to everyone. Trish, many, many thanks for the coffee, as usual. You're a star. Sorry I didn't get to see your brother race, I had to get into town.

Well done Keith, you're coming on very very well. Again many thanks to Tim, all the marshall and timekeepers for giving us such a good day

WHO WOULD WANT TO BE A CLERK OF THE COURSE ?

I would like to repeat the thanks to the (too few) individuals who attended to help run this event. John McAssey, Ciaran Freeney and Johb Kane on the far test ; Bill White and Kevin O'Sullivan at the near one; and Paul, Eamonn and Trevor Foster as MSI steward.

To the usual crew, I am glad you enjoyed the day out in the very ! fine weather. Hope nobody is too burnt this morning.

Or sore ? Those racing fells's should come to our events to learn how to drive !

On the other point: 10 events ? No way after yesterday and the behavior of some individuals; one in particular. If you dont like a decision, fine. If you get an answer from Ronnie Griffin and Tim Faulkner. Its answered ! Do what you wish but just get on with it.,

Keeping moaning invites questions of sportsmanship: and the suggestion that the appropriate response is a constructed treatise on the headline question.

Tim

P.S. Yes; am a bit pissed about it !
