Post Surely TDC can help Guy out with this!!! Reply with quote
Ok, I just saw this over on Octane and we can surely rustle up a bit of help here for Guy

I've posted the whole post over.

"Hi all.
I'm new on here but some of you might know me
My name is Guy Foster. Im an autotester and i drive a black mini in the hewison championship. (i also drove the heap of a convertable escort at the tdc new years trial)
Yesterday i placed first in irl/uk in a competition in the playstation game Gran Turismo 5. The prize of this competition is a fully paid trip to the nurburgring to compete against 14 other finalists from around the world in time trials in a merc sls amg. The fastest person of the day wins the car.
Heres the problem, im very confident in fwd but limited rwd experience (on tar anyway). this is a once in a lifetime chance for me and i really want to give myself the best chance possible of winning that car.
Would any rwd racers on here be willing to let me sit in with them or even let me drive theyre car (while they sat in beside me obviously)?

I totally understand if the latter isnt possible but as i said im just chancing my arm.

Thanks in advance for any replies"

There must be a few people here who can help him out. I'd donate my Volvo for usage but I would say the comparison with a SLS would be minimal Shocked

Well done Guy Very Happy

Which Nurburgring - old or new

Long Mondello or Cadwell best circuits to practice - blind entries to corners

Best of luck

little bit of an update.
The event is going to take place from the 11-13th of july

Also they have changed the venue to the Red Bull Ring. The Red Bull Ring is the new name for the old a1 ring. They built a new pit complex and resurfaced the old track.
