The IMRC are calling this an Endurance Trial which if I have got it right is not a multi venue Autotest ? - Surely one has selectives, road timing etc and no backwards whilst the other has tests and backwards
Tell better when the regs appear

Malcolm
If you read it further, they are talking about an endurance event later in the year.
Patrick's Day is to be a multi-venue, under autotest rules, to the best of my knowledge.
As the world knows : multi-venue autotests were invented by JJ Farrell for TDC about ten years ago to try and get back to the atmosphere and nature of cross-road test trials which stopped in 1986.
Those were the days , and I had a bit of a row over what should ( in my opinion !) have been the last one. Nothing like a nice stone wall to teach you how big your car was and how good you were !
As you say : for the 17th, all will be revealed in the regs.

St Patrick's Day - IMRC |
|
Malcolm and Tim,
The IMRC event on St patrick's Day is most certainly a "Multi Venue" autotest.
in one venue -Punchestown Racecourse.
There is a plan to host an Endurance Trial later in the year, using the Retro Date.
Regs will be available at the ALMC Endurance Trial next weekend for the St Patrick's Day event and any one interested should contact Eddie Fitzgerald

Great day out.. Many thanks to the IMRC for putting on a fun event and many thanks to the Marshals for all their hard work. The sun stayed out all day making it a brilliant event. Didn't like the forward-backwards lines/boxes and would have preferred chicanes to slow us down but the tests were excellent and I especially enjoyed those on the loose..

Brilliant day, thanks to the IMRC and all the marshals who stood out in the cold so we could have fun. Tests were brilliant, especially the quick sections on gravel, really kept you on your toes.
