 | | TDC have decided to run on another Navigation Treasure Hunt to help hone the skills of the participants and put into practice the elements required when navigating.
This event will be held on Wednesday evening at 6:30pm and will be based from the Summerhill House Hotel in Enniskerry. Cars will leave from the Hotel at 8:00 pm sharp.
Prior to the driving/Navigation element there will be some basic Navigation training.
The route is about 25 miles long and instructions are by normal tulip. Distances in miles and kilometres. Ordinary road cars should be able to cope.
It might be useful for those not used to tulips and regularaties to familiarise themselves with this method of navigation. Those doing the 2011 TDC Trial event might find it helpful.
There will be an entry fee of 5 euro this time. There will be tea/coffee and sandwiches on offer.
Those competing will need a watch/clock with minutes and seconds if they are to be in with a chance of winning. Speed tables will be provided.
Let us know if you intend to participate as we really need to know the numbers in advance. If you do not intend to drive/navigate, please help us Marshal this event.
Entries will be limited to 20 cars.

As for the last Treasure Hunt, it has been decided to accommodate 25, so those on the waitlng list are "in", leaving room for three more. Looking forward to seeing you all.
