I have to confess that there has been a struggle, behind the scenes, to get a venue for this event. The good news is that one has been obtained ! In our normal general area but closer to Dublin and very adjacent to the Naas Road.
Regs are due up here over this weekend.
I would appreciate indications of level of support, and am looking for a larger turnout please, because of the special effort that has been put into obtaining the venue.
This outcome has arisen because of the totally unacknowledged behind the scenes work of some of our senior members. We don't tend to see them except as competitors, but one of the strengths of TDC is there are a lot of people doing thngs quitely in the background to make our events happen, and to the high standard we have come to expect. I would like to express thanks to all these people both personally for the events I act as COC to, and for the club overall.
I am not naming names simply for the reason that I dont have permission to do so, and I am not sure the public acknowledgement would always be appreciated. But thank you, folks !
Tim

I'll post up details on the new test site later but I would recommend anyone doing Multi-venues/endurance events to get in some practice at these beginners events. The tests tend be be simpler and more open that normal autotests giving a great opportunity to hone your skills and learn the behaviour of your car in a safe environment.

ENTRIES WANTED PLEASE.
A special effort has been made to obtain this venue for the event and I would appreciate a turnout to reward the people who have put themselves out for us; especially the landowner and our contact with him
Thank

I'm not sure it would be a good idea to double drive the MX-5 as it has a new clutch.. or be put to shame driving the tests..
I'll have a think about it...

Was there an hour ago looking over the site. It's huge. One very large loose test and 2 large fast concrete/tarmac tests.
