Endurance hopefuls... |
|
I guess it means they are interested in the event !!!!!
An entry is an entry when form is returned with money and we cannot issue these until MI have given a permit number. ..... Patience Tim ..

Patience may be a very nice girl ! ! but not for me, thanks !
More of a 13th Commandment guy myself ! ( 13th Commandment " Flat ! : Thou shalt not lift thy foot from the accelerator, even in all dangers, temptations and afflictions " )
Terrific to see the levels of interest in these sorts of events and MVATs.

Just spotted this on the ALMC Twitter Feed:
ALMC Twitter Link
Meeting at 8PM this Tuesday (23rd August) in the Marriott Ashbourne regarding the upcoming Endurance Trial in September, which is probably worth attending if you are entered for this event.

I've since been told that this is a meeting for the organisers of the Endurance Trial, although it doesn't mention that on the link, so I don't think you'll be missing out on anything J.

Roll on Saturday ! Looking forward to this !
Curious though ; where they'll bring us. Especially as the route intentions had to be modified because of a bat and ball thingie !. Know we're not going to Slane or Luttrelstow ( being saved for February) but speaking to my driver over the weekend, we both would like to go back to the army camp; it worked well as a test.
& maybe the Lane one ( cant remember what it's called) just beside Bellewstown. Like that too !
Seeding list out tonight. Hope not too far down: with the rain forecast for this week the gravelly ones may cut up with a bit of use.
LIMO'S And the "you have been warned", just for anyone who didn't see it. Doesn't affect me : we're not in that class and dont have one anyway. Good God ! : it would quadruple the cost of the car !
I am not privy to how this has arisen, but if the COC has got the kit there are obviously reasons. So dont be the wrong side of this.
"Endurance - Limited Slip Diffs
Written by Administrator

Competitors are reminded that limited slip differentials or torque biasing differentials are expressly forbidden in the Endurance class. All Endurance cars will be checked at scrutiny for compliance with this rule. Any competitor wishing to use such devices can transfer to the Navigation class without penalty. Any such transfer must be notified to the organisers by 22.00 hours Thursday , 22nd September. Competitors entered in the Endurance Class who are found at scrutiny to have such devices will be deemed to have failed scrutiny and will not be allowed start. For the avoidance of any doubt, if a competitor in the Endurance Class is found at scrutiny to have such a device, he/she cannot at that stage opt to transfer to the Navigation Class.
We have arranged for the loan of a checking device for diffs for the event.

Seeding list delayed ; for the best of reasons
"ALMC Endurance Seeding
We are delighted to announce, that following representations made to the Navigation Sub Committee, we have received approval from them and the Rallies Committee to run an increased number of cars on the event. It has been approved to extend the number of starters to include those reserves listed at the closing date on Friday last.
However, this also requires a rule change ,which will be brought before the Motorsport Commission at tomorrow nights meeting. We believe that the delay in publishing the seeded list is beneficial in the interest of these additional competitors and the Endurance Trials in 2012.
We will publish the list once we hear from the Navigation Chairman following the Commission meeting tomorrow night.
Please click on the image below to access the Final Instructions and check back here at midnight tomorrow ( Tuesday 20th)
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
