Overall a very nice package – in the right hands should/could win events outright. Never did alot in my hands, but has taken 1st (Ashley Lamont) and 2nd (Ivan McAteer) in the MG Ulster classic trial. Always finished ever event, drive to and from them also.
I have all MOT’s since I owned it (6 ½ years ). I replaced all the instruments a few years ago, so mileage was set back to zero (July 2006) car Mot’s with 51 miles on the clock, now has just over 4000miles. I simply don't use it enough. Originally this car had covered around 50k. Think it has been a motorsport car most of its life and owned by Noel Cochrane competing in the likes if the circuit retro.
It is a very fast car, and not for the faint hearted. It's even faster than it looks once out on the open road.
0-60 around 5 secs
¼ miles 14.8 (quicker than a Lotus Cartlon – See Youtube)
Car MOT’d to Jan 2013
Prob forgot loads, but just ask.
If you search youtube for my username (BYD1380) you'll find loads of videos at various events.
Thanks
Ivan
