 2nd Feb 2013: MGCC Derek Walker Trial |

The MGCC Ulster Centre will organise a multi-venue Clubsport Driving Test and PCT event on Saturday, 2 February 2013 starting and finishing at Ballymena Livestock Mart, Co Antrim (1 Woodside Road – which is just before the Michelin Factory on Broughshane Road from Ballymena).

Guys, a reminder this is primarily a classic event. Post 1980 cars can enter but will not be eligable for overall award. Also navigator is to remain in car during all tests, some can be walked and some cant. Cars to be MOT'd and taxed.
This was a great event last year, we have around 20 entries so far. Please post your entries to Carol Willis

I'm going & really looking forward to it.
I wonder if the trial sections will be included this year. They were cancelled last year, I think due to the weather - not that we stayed in the event long enough to have reached them anyway

Yep - early start on Saturday morning. Probably leave soon after 5 & pick up my navigator in Castleknock en route. Good breakfast provided at the venue.
Forecast looks like it might dry up a bit towards weekend.

Nope just 21 good tests this year the trial/lanes ahve been left out this year. As for the breakfast, the woman claimed that a fry was as easy to make as a bacon/sausage bap so its free frys for all competitors on arrival. Cant see anyone complaining
