26th May 2018: Friends of Oisin Barn Dance & BBQ

The friends of Oisin are running the now bi-annual fundraising barn dance & BBQ at Woodside Farmyard. This event has been well supported by TDC members & motorsport friends in the past- thank you.

Oisin is Frank Lenehan's grand-nephew. For those who don't know him, Oisin is now seven years old, he was born with profound brain injury and suffers with many disabilities such as cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and scoliosis.
He requires a lot of equipment and therapies on a daily basis and this is costly. The HSE only cover so much. A trust fund was set up for Oisin and to date proceeds from past barn dances have enabled a sensory area to be built for Oisin’s bedroom and last year he got his eye gaze interactive learning / communication equipment...Oisin is enjoying exploring all it can do !
Oisin has also been able to attend weekly therapy sessions with Clare, a speech and language therapist and Amy, an occupational therapist. He thoroughly enjoys these sessions and is making such wonderful progress!

Despite his disabilities he’s a happy little boy. We would be delighted if you come & join us to support Oisin whilst also enjoying yourselves at a great night.
