|
New for 2025! – The MVAT League.
Running as part of the TDC Championship, The MVAT League is a subsidiary competition and intends to provide entertainment for Multi Venue Autotest competitors of all experience levels.
ROUNDS
The League will consist of up to 7 MVAT events, including the 3 TDC MVAT’s planned for 2025.
- 26/1 TDC @ Mondello
- TBC ALMC @ Slane
- 24/8 TDC @ Tbc
- TBC Cavan MC @ TBC
- 14/9 Galway MC @ Kiltormer
- 26/10 Westmeath MC @ Carbury / Broadford
- 27/12 TDC @ tbc
POINTS / COUNTING ROUNDS
Best 5 points scores from the 7 (or less) rounds will count towards the final points tally.
25 points for the overall winner, 22 for 2nd place, 20 for 3rd place, 19 for 4th… etc down to 3 points for 20th place
Power test bonus points - bonus points will be awarded for the top 3 fastest times in the last test of the event. 3 points for the fastest, 2 points for the 2nd fastest and 1 point for the 3rd fastest. The nomination of the Power Test will be at the sole discretion of the League organisers but it is intended to be the last run of the last test i.e. if the event consists of 3 tests to be run 5 times, it is the 5th run of Test no.3 that will be the Power Test, all efforts will be made to communicate this to competitors on the day of the event.
Tie breakers - ties for the top league positions will be decided in favour of the competitor with the most number of wins and if the same, then the most number of 2nd place results and so on if tied again.
REGULATIONS
All Multi Venue Autotests are to be held under the International Sporting Code of the FIA, the General Competition Rules of the MI, Appendix 91 of the current MI Yearbook, any Supplementary Regulations and Final Instructions that may be issued by organising Motor Club.
For the avoidance of doubt, the regulations for league rounds will be as per the relevant organising motor club event regulations.
AWARDS / PRIZES
It is hoped that modest funding or sponsorship can be secured at some point to provide prizes to the top 3 league finishers and ‘Rising Star’ i.e. highest placed Beginner or Novice (as per 2025 TDC driver classification list). More to follow on that during the year.
REGISTRATION
No registration is required for 2025, anyone who completes a counting round in a scoring position will have those points added to their league total.
So get your cars ready, spread the word and see you in action during the year
