The first ever Get into Motorsport day to be organised by Motorsport Ireland will be held in Mondello Park on March 1st. with the aim of helping aspiring Race Drivers find out more about how to get involved in motor racing.
The single day event will give anyone interested in competing their first ever
opportunity to talk to representatives of all of the classes currently racing in Ireland, in one place. There will also be an opportunity to find out everything involved in going racing, from the first steps in obtaining a competition licence, to all of the option when getting on track.
For the first time intending competitors can also avail of the opportunity to see the Mondello circuit from the passenger seat alongside an experienced racing driver but to do this they must pre-register and attend at a specific time.
So, whether you have serious ambitions or just want to race for the fun of it, all the contacts that you need to get going can be made in 1 day!

Thats sounds like a really excellent idea.

It all must seem pretty inaccessible to outsiders.
