The 10th Rally of the Tests 15th - 20th November |
|
As many of you are aware the 10th Rally of the Tests starts in Dublin this year and here will be a number of tests and regularities in DUblin, Wicklow, Wexford, Carlow, Kilkenny and Kildare.
Details of the event can be found on http://www.classicrally.org.uk/rott2010/index.html but the organisers will also need some help and a marshals application form can be downloaded in pdf or word format from http://www.classicrally.org.uk/downloads.html
There looks to be a good entry with all the usual suspects from this side of the water entered, DC and Ian Tullie team up again in the Alfa, Frank Lenehan and Cath Woodman are out in a Mini as are Ted and Karen Gaffney, Bernard Bradley and The Vin are entered in a Porsche 911, Frank Fennell and Kevin Savage are out in the Merc, the McAllisters, Pat Neville/Eamonn Waldron and James O'Mahony/Paddy McDonnell are all out in Volvos, Joe Reynolds and Paul Bosdet are entered in the MG Magnette, Ciaran Geoghegan will be out in a Lancia Fulvia and Tom Callanan has Chris Towers alongside in a TR4.
Good strong representation from over here so hopefully some "local knowledge" will come in handy and see a few Irish crews at the top of the leaderboard when the cars head off on the ferry on the Thursday morning

Good fun at CityWest this afternoon during scrutineering, all the usual banter with DC, The Vin, BernardB, FrankL, Eamonn. Really looking forward to the next 3 days, saw diagrams for a few of the tests some amount of driving, Wednesday will be fun.
Best of luck to all the (pure)Irish crews and and the Anglo Irish ones too
Also would like to wish Frank Fennell a speedy recovery
will pop up a few pics later
