Thanks very much to all those who put so much work into making today's event so enjoyable.
Sorry the marshals got so cold and wet.
Happy only to have had 1 fail, given how hard the tests were to remember for those of us with just an average (= non-hewison) brain.
Stephen
P.S. Howard Wilde was my Dad's first cousin and sometimes used to collect me from national school 40 something years ago. Nice to have an event in his memory.

It was great to have a go at a Hewison event. I did struggle a bit with the tests being much longer and more complicated than I'm used to I think this confirms the importance of the Beginners championship as a way of getting into autotesting, I think anyone new who had to start with Hewison events could easily be put off.
Thanks to all the marshalls who stood out in the artic conditions today to run the great event!!

Thank you very much to all involved in the running of today's autotest and all the marshals. I really enjoyed today, it was nice to step things up a notch and compete in my first hewison round, after doing all of the beginners/novice rounds this year I have learnt a lot and found myself remembering tests much easier than I used to and the driving technique comes more naturally.I plan on competing in many more hewison rounds next year, unfortunately my road going starlet appears to not be the tool for the job in tighter autotests,it is much more at home doing multivenues. I will have to look into either building or buying a suitable car.
