Veteran Autotester! Kingers that almost sounds flattering. Nothing to see here, move along now, move along! In fact you should consider yourself lucky that you happened upon TDC post my era!

Yes, I have gratefully accepted Kingers' kind offer and have a ream of paper under my arm today so Philip, Trish & Felix I'll be on to you all pretty soon.

Just be warned that I was never far from my shadow so there MAY be more than one old fart showing up for this event! Watch this space Smile

Thanks again Kingers, much obliged!

Class 2 (fwd drive > 1300 cc ) is going to be to be a very competitive class class with the addition of former Hewison Champion, JJ Farrell in his Corsa however, he can rest assured that he will be kept honest by Richard Meeke, Mark Nugent, and Rob Lewis. They face the formidable challenge of Eamonn Byrne and Eddie Peterson for company for top class 2 honours.

Dermot Carnegie, who is better known as "The Killiney flick" in the Rallycross
world, is a master of all surfaces and he is always entertaining to watch in his Mark 1 Escort. Mark Walsh, who made his debut in his self prepared Mark 2 Escort on this event last year, has since gained valuable experience and he now shows a great fondness for opposite lock! Piers Mac Fheorais is another driver who favours the opposite lock approach and he will be sure to have his MX5 on song. Piers won't have it all his own way as rwd expert, Peter Lynch will be keen to make give him a run for his money in another MX5

Timmy Faulkner, who is a keen Munster fan ( to say the least ) will be delighted to see more Corkmen on the entry list! Liam Cashman is very skilled in any car and will be hard to beat in class 1 .He will be joined by Patrick O'Leary from Donoughmore. We might rename this as the Cork Class as James Mansfield is another Class 1 contender who has Cork blood in him!

We will start group number 1 at test 1 , group number 2 at test 2 and so on.

Double Drivers - driver number 1 will start as per their group number and complete 5 tests before driver number 2 can start his lap of 5 tests.

Licences - We will have a Motorsport Ireland declaration sheet for signing by those who have applied for their licence but not yet received it by Sunday 26th January.

TDC are delighted to welcome new competitors from other motorsport disciplines and want to ensure everyone has a very enjoyable day so please don't be shy about asking questions.

THINK OF THE MARSHALLS

At lunch break on Sunday at 1.00 o'clock, please allow the marshalls first call on access to the Burger van. They have a max 45 minutes including any travel time from test to paddock and back, and any time over-runs on competitors catching up to finish laps etc.

It is only a courtesy.

just to be 100% sure, so we dont need an email cover letter from MI or anything if we have not received a licence, just show up and sign the form?

Mark

No cover note required as long as you have applied for your licence.

There is a Penalty for Signing the declaration if your licence is not applied for.

Note this declaration is only available for the month of January.
