24th May 2014: RIAC Classic Car Run

An approach to Larry Mooney in 2013 saw TDC having an input into this event. The collaboration has been maintained this year.
In acknowledgment of TDC’s involvement, our members are very welcome to enter. So if you have a “classic” which needs to be aired, consider taking it out for a spin on this run.

Pioneer Run cars (pre 1914) will arrive in Dunboyne soon after the Classic Run cars. Both sets of cars will be accommodated in the Church car park. The Dunboyne Motor Club will be orchestrating proceedings and will have a few cars of their own in evidence as well.

RIAC Entry Form

The event will start from Weston Aerodrome at 10.30 am on Saturday 24th May. The event will take place over a 100kms (60 mile) route finishing at Dunboyne Village about 3.30 pm. Participants are invited to join the RIAC Pioneer Run BBQ at Barberstown Castle Hotel commencing at 7.00 pm (tickets €25.00 each).
The BBQ is the social highlight of the Pioneer Run weekend. Entry to the RIAC Classic Car Run is €25.00 and should be returned with this Entry Form before Friday 16th May to:
