Doesn't seem to be excluded going by regulations in the recent past.
Tyres
Tyres are per MI article 35. Tyres marked “For competition use only”, “For Rally use”, or “For Rally use only” is prohibited. Any competitor who is in any doubt about eligibility of their tyres should contact the organisers before entering. This rule will be strictly enforced, in order to prevent damage to the private road s over which selectives take place. Tyres may only be cut into the original treads; no additional cuts are permitted.
