Steering Wheel Knobs |
|
Lads, does anyone know where I can buy a fairly good quality steering wheel knob? The one on the Starlet is a cheap thing and cut me a few times last year :/

If you're passing a tractor dealer esp a John Deere one they used to have good ones !

Yep Dave is right, try a co-op or farm supply shop if you're passing one, the best ones have a metal bracket that go under a steering wheel spoke and have a nut/bolt either side. Can be made to fit a normal starlet wheel, you're welcome to look at mine if you want.

Hi Kingers. I have a spare tractor spinner here if you're near Killiney.
If you're north side, Desi or Ian at Armstrong Machinery, (Tel. 01 843 1130),M1> J5 can supply.
Mig weld the base bracket to the wheel rim, minimum damage to the wheel cover, and it's rock solid. P

Hi LombardP - I'm only down the road from Killiney as it turns out. Thanks a mill for that - I can call down at the weekend if you're around?
