5th Sept 2015: SportingTrial Scrutiny and evaluation day |
|
Subject: SportingTrial Scrutiny and evaluation day - Saturday 5th September **Revised Venue near Johnny Foxes**
It was discussed at the Pre Season meeting last Wednesday, the combining of the Junior Junior Evaluation Day with the Scrutiny, and enhancing the day with a with a light Bar-b-que.
The Day will hopefully be used to start the season socially, reintroduce ourselves to one another, but more importantly, allow the day to be used by us all, to bring and show Sporting trials to friends and interested parties. Many of us find it difficult to show the sport while competing. For those receiving this email who are not competitors, it should be a good day to view the sport informally with everyone.
The Venue has been changed from the Golf club, which we have been very grateful of the use of for the past number of years, to Ballybetagh Farm by kind permission of Frank Lenehan (turn at the Kilternan filling station toward Johnnie Foxes) or (Refer to map on Sporting trials website) CLICK HERE>
Scrutiny will commence at 10.30 untill 12.30 as before
There will be perhaps two sections setup for demonstrative purposes.
There will be a "professional" Bar-b-Que organised on a donation basis, with any surplus being donated to Charity. This will commence at about 11.30. In order to have an idea on quantities for catering I have been asked to ask you how many friends or family we may need to cater for. (A quick email with a number will suffice). E-mail to: sportingtrialsinfo@gmail.com
Hopefully this will turn out to be a great fun day while we get on with the formalities of season set-up.
