Birr Multi Venue Autotest 22/7/18 (NOTE DATE CHANGE)

The Birr Multi Venue Autotest Date is changed to Sunday 22nd July.

The event will be based near Borris in Ossory Co Laois.

No IRDS required for this MVAT as only 2 Venues are being used and competing car NOT complying the RTA MUST be trailered between the venues. We will be using 1 venue in the for Morning Tests and the other venue for the afternoon tests.

Sign On & Tests 1-9 (3 Tests done 3 Times) in Donaghmore Agricultural Museum.

Sign on from 8.30am, Briefing 9.45am and Tests Start @10.00am.

After Lunch Tests 10-21 (4 Tests done 3 Times) in Campion Concrete. 4 Miles from Donaghmore.

Results, Prizegiving & Complimentary Dinner for all Drivers in Sheerans Bar, Coolrain.

The Donaghmore Museum Committee are providing us with Tea/Coffee & Snacks from 8.30am and also a Light Lunch for all Drivers.

All monies will go towards the Donaghmore Museum.

The Start & Sign On will be located at the Donaghmore Agricultural & Farm Museum, Rathdowney, Co Laois. N52.877546, W7.613313
No Petrol Available in the Test Site Areas. All Cars should be filled en-route. Borris in Ossory & Rathdowney are the nearest Petrol Stations.

It would help make Sign On Faster if all drivers would bring the Exact Entry Fee - €85 and Fully Completed Entry Forms if not already sent. Your help in these matters would be greatly appreciated. No Competition Licence = No Start

Tea/Coffee & Scones are available at the Start Venue from 8.30am. Please support as the proceeds go towards the Museum Upkeep and they are allowing to have Tests on their grounds. Lunch stop is also at the Museum after Test 9.

All drivers will receive a Complimentary Dinner in Sheeran’s Bar, Coolrain where the Prizegiving will take place.
Sheerans Bar is 10 Minutes Drive from Campion’s.

Car No: 1-12 Start at Test 1 (REPEAT 2 TIMES)
Car No: 14-26 Start at Test 2 (REPEAT 2 TIMES)
Car No: 26-33 Start at Test 3 (REPEAT 2 TIMES)

RUNNING ORDER: Tests 10-21 - Campion Concrete
Car No: 1-8 Start at Test 10 (REPEAT 2 TIMES)
Car No: 9-16 Start at Test 11 (REPEAT 2 TIMES)
Car No: 17-24 Start at Test 12 (REPEAT 2 TIMES)

After Lunch Tests 10-21 will Start at 1.45pm or Earlier

IRDS: No IRDS required but cars are not RTA Compliant must be trailered between the 2 Test Locations

Passengers / Navigators
All passengers & navigators must sign on and pay €5 personal accident insurance premium. Only signed on Passengers/Navigators may be carried on the road sections & tests. Passengers/Navigators must be over 16 Years. Proof of age will be requested at Sign On.

Walking of Tests
You may walk all Tests. All Drivers must be ready to start Tests promptly when instructed by Marshall’s. Failure to adhere to this will lead to a Test Max being applied. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Seat Belts
Seat belts are mandatory for both driver and passenger on all tests and road sections.

Tyres
Only road tyres are allowed on the driven wheels, no M&S or Knobbly tyres are allowed

ON ALL TEST SITES & GROUNDS ONLY THE NOMINATED DRIVERS ARE ALLOWED TO DRIVE THE COMPETING CAR. Any Drivers that allow Non Nominated Drivers to drive in the Test Sites will be EXCLUDED with immediate effect.
All test site Marshalls are Judges of Fact in regard to this matter.

Route Maps
All Drivers will be provided with a good quality B & W Map.

Please help us to ensure that this event is a great success by driving with care and consideration for other road users along the road sections. Any Crew/Driver observed driving in an inappropriate manner will be excluded and reported to Motorsport Ireland.
Please follow the instructions of the officials and marshals at all times.
