Huge Spec Toyota Starlet |
|
Well the time has come to part ways with my Toyota Starlet. This has been a labour of love and a lot of work and development has gone into this car. It won its last event up north and finished 9th overall out of 100 in the 116 Targa in wales last weekend.
Spec as follows
Engine:
1.5 Fhe Cynos engine these are as rare as hens teeth.
Built by Merlin Developments, Custom Cams with custom solid followers, Ported and Polished head with 3 angle seats, Standard bottom end lightened and balanced with lightened flywheel. Pistons machined to suit new cams All new bearings, timing belt, rings and genuine toyota gasket set used. Running on custom map-able ecu. 150Bhp
Exhaust:
Custom 2 inch Stainless steel system from manifold back with hidden tail pipe.
Gearbox:
Short ratio gearbox with Kazz 1.5 LSD, has done 5 events since been fitted.
Clutch
Exedy Uprated clutch.
Brakes:
240mm vented front brake with racing pads, new rear handbrake cables fitted before the last event.
Suspension:
Custom Bilstein spec coilovers with increased travel over standard. These were spec'ed by myself and made by Bilstein. Camber adjustable.
Polybushed front end and whiteline adjustable panard rod.
Body:
Jap spec starlet with only 88,000 Km on it very clean and straight body. Running 10mm alloy sump guard.
