Really looking forward to this!

One thing that came up at the last event that would be better for everyone to iron out in advance is whether or not a passenger seat is required. I had one fitted but others weren’t aware and had to carry ballast last minute.

I don’t see anything specific in the regs, can this and any other requirements be made clear for competitors in advance, to avoid any issues on the day?

All cars must be fully Road-legal.

As before.

There is no additional explanatory notes at this time. As clubman motorsport it is expected the spirit of the discipline is honoured (Gentlemen's Retro-rallying 1990's throwing back to 1950's - 1960's).

If one is asking one may well be in the wrong place, and the answer is most likely whatever the question is it is not allowed !

Or, NO ! , for short.

Hi all

Looking forward to the upcoming even and it’s been a while since I was at an event so just following up on the previous post, no changes to car requirements since the start of the year?

Thanks,

Ken.

Hi Ken, Glad to see you are sticking with it. These events are great fun.

A detailed set of guidelines for TDC Multi-venue Autotests will be published in the coming weeks. However, we can clarify now, that a passenger seat is required to be fitted, but rear seats or rear 1/4 interior trims will not be a requirement."

See you on the day.

That’s clear enough for now and I don’t think anyone will have problems complying.

Also appreciate that the guidelines are work in progress.

Can I suggest a period of observation following the issuing of the draft guidelines, just in case there’s something that a competitor sees that may warrant amending?

Makes sense Brian. I don't think it's going to be too complex though.

As ever, we concentrate on the sport. And other things that are happening behind the scenes happen behind the scenes (Review of event regs !, FYI)

So, event timings are being pushed out by 30 minutes, as more appropriate to this time of year !

Sign On : From 8.30 AM
Drivers Briefing : 9.45 AM
Start : 10.00 AM
