The Classic Rally Association invades the Isle of Man this weekend for the first running of the Three Legs of Mann reliability trial. Scrutineering and documentation takes place tomorrow with the event kicking off at 8:30 consisting of a day of regularities and tests with some of the Special Tests taking place on closed roads covering some of the famous rally stages on the island like Glen Roy, Druidale, The Curraghs, Foxdale Mines and Little London. Friday night then sees the crews tackle 90 miles of an evening section consisting of regularities and TC sections.
Another early start on Saturday sees Leg3 commence with more regularities and tests with the cars due to finish around 4pm
The Irish interest for this event focuses on Frank Fennell and Michael Jackson in the Alfa Romeo Giulia Super, Dermot Carnegie and Ian Tullie in the newly built Mk1 Escort.....yes it's finished Very Happy , Joe Reynolds and Paul Bosdet in a BMW 2002, Pat Neville and Eamonn Waldron in the Volvo and Tom Callanan with Peter Rusforth in a MGB.
