Following an inspection of all test sites on Thursday 23rd December and in light of the weather forecast for Boxing Day, it has been decided that the “It’s Not The Boxing Day Rally” should be postponed until a suitable date in January 2011. This date will be advised in due course.
The Organising Committee for the Event felt that it would be better to postpone now rather than asking competitors, marshals and officials to brave the weather on the day and risk the potentially very poor driving conditions.
For those of you who have already entered the event, we thank you and ask that you be patient with us whilst we seek an alternative date in January. When a date has been decided, we will contact each of you to determine whether you wish your entry to stand.
To those folks who have invested time and effort in the run up to the event and to those who had volunteered their time to help out on the event, again we thank you and hope that you will still be able to join us when we run in January. Please note that MMP signatures will still be allocated on the new date.
The Ulster Automobile Club and the Organising Committee would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a successful 2011.
