Post 3rd July 2011: JJ's Charity Multi-Venue Autotest Reply with quote
This well-regarded event will take place on Sunday, 3th July at Beaulieu House, Drogheda.

Avail of the opportunity to enjoy the magnificent Meath / Louth scenery as you
travel from one yard to another.

After all your driving limitations have been exposed by the tests, the grand finale is a bounteous barbecue in Beaulieu House. No matter how badly you fared during the day, you will go home happy.

Hi Allan, The regs are not out yet. Was there anything specific you were looking for?

Hi Piers,

Thanks for the reply! How can I get a copy when they are published? Is it going to be a more gravel/farmyard event or will it be in quarries? Just trying to get some info for car setup!
You'll have to venture north for a run out, Loughall was a belter!

Hope you are getting on well with your MX5?

Allan

Thanks Allan, As soon as I hear anything I'll let you know. Typically its quite a mixture of farmyards, quarries, fields, car parks etc..

I need a lot more practice in the MX-5.. Laughing

Thanks Piers,

Why is this event for pre 1988 cars? Should we enter our MX5s anyway?

Should be fine Allan, I'll look into it. The multivenues have always been for pre '88 cars but there has always been flexibility on the entry.

Quick update !

We now have a very strong and high quality entry for this event, thank you to everyone who has sent me their completed entry form. JJ and his crew of helpers have been hard at work and have come up trumps with 19 very interesting & challenging tests including some new secret locations in lanes ,farmyards, quarries and fields. There will also be a few tests on sealed surfaces to keep the tarmac terrorists happy. More details to follow re lunch and road book to follow so please keep an eye on the website for further updates

This fun event is shaping up to be a great day and we are now incorporating a team event. Teams to be made up of 3 drivers of any make / model /Club. Cost will be 15 Euro per team and there is no need to amend your original entry however please email me your team members and team name in advance. I foresee an epic battle between the Minis and the Midgets:)

Thanks again to everyone who has sent in their entry and if anyone has to cancel please let me know as we have a reserve list.
