Hi Mick, They usually work quite well even when soft, although after your GTi it would feel really wobbly... A set of good dampers (KYB) from your local car parts shop would help...

KYB are a good quality standard shock. Get the ones for a GT Turbo Starlet for your year. As for tyres, that's a tough question. Usually the front runners use 185/60/13 Yokohama A021 on the front and budget 145 X 13 on the rear for the MVAT's.

Ok I have some 165 60 "chunky" tyres for it. They'll do for now
I'm looking into the shocks. Look like 70euro each

Is that trade? Sounds a lot more expensive than I remember... SHop around the motor factors...

Chunky better NOT = knobbly
Read the regs : Gravel diggers are not permitted : if in doubt check with the scary one , upon his return from holiday
