Another excellent event, up to the usual, high Birr standards.
I have to comment on the venues. From excellent to one that I visited that was simply superb. The driveway lane up to the farmyard test would make a brilliant Lanes section.
Congratulations to Sean and his crew on the event.
Tim.
PS. The guilty bits, I shall remain silent on : other than a BIG thanks to Joe Downey, Trish Denning, Kevin O'Rourke, Mark Geraghty and Dave McAuley for their respective assistences.
PPS. And the less said about the 'gift' wrapping the better

Fabulous event ! Once again the Birr crew took the bar and raised it ! Great venues and probably the friendliest and happiest marshalls and officials ! Was only sorry I could not stay for the now legendary Garaghy post event hospitality !
Also I got to travel round with a great bunch all day, plenty of banter and slagging !
@ Tim , It was a pleasure to do something to help someone who puts so much into the sport we enjoy so much !

Thanks a million to all involved in organising and running this great event.
A lot more work goes into these events than is apparent on the day. Finding all new sites is hard going too. (Did you fall out with all the owners of last years ones?)
Thanks, too, to the Garahys for the site, coffee, sandwiches and cake!
Well done to all the top finishers.
Stephen

A big thank you to Sean Henehan and all his crew of marshals, timekeepers, results team and the landowners for a wonderful days sport. I would especially like to thank the Garaghy Ladies (who span three generations Grandmother Mary, Eithne and her daughters Hannah and Jane) for their wonderful hospitality and baking skills. The Almond and Apricot cake was a big hit!
@ Tim , your very welcome
