I don't think it's going to be an easy fix... Looks like it will need a new door and quarter panel...

Aw crap that's a shame. I presume you can still use it at events but will you need to get it sorted for it's next NCT?

Are you sure the quarter panel couldnt be fixed Piers? If you have trouble getting a door it might be worth asking some of the munster championship lads like John Lyons that have boxy type starlet specials. they might still have the ones they took off.

Yep, Was booked in for an NCT today and had to cancel it.. I doubt the qtr panel could be repaired.. Its well torn..

That's annoying, if only the NCT had been a week earlier
Will it be economical to repair or will you have to start looking for a replacement car?

I'm trying not to think about that at the moment.. But considering how much work went into it the repairs would have to a very expensive before I'd consider re-shelling it...

Fingers crossed it can be sorted without too much hassle.
As you mention the amount of work you've put in, you've reminded me to post a thread looking for information on how to go about preparing a car for various events.
