hey ya im dave from killarney co kerry just to say that i would love to compete i have a caterham style car but from seeeing the vids on youtube its kinda unreal stuff love to be able to do it but i have no practice and dont knnow how to do it i might also be slow Embarassed

Hi Dave, Welcome along.. You should visit a few autotests and have a look.. You can also have a chat with the drivers about their cars etc.. They are a friendly bunch..

Welcome

We all started somewhere: so speed when you are a beginner is not an issue.

KDMC dont do autotests : but Kerry Motor Club in Tralee do . Your main thing to get involved will be the Munster autotest championship. About 16 events from March through to October, and from Clare to Cork/Waterford.
The co-ordinator is Mike Mulcahy from Newcastlewest. Don Giles (don@skibbdcc.com) from Skibbereen Club is the webmaster for the championship and we have a Munster Championship forum on this website.

Gerry Lynch from Killorglin is someone you could talk to : he is the only person other than Paddy Power, to win the Munster cHampionship in recent years. He goes deceptively quickly in a self built Locost
