25th April 2010 ALMC Multi-Venue Autotest |
|
On Sunday 25th April the quarries and gravel pits of the Louth countryside will throw open their gates to Autotest competitors for the 2010 running of the ALMC multi venue Autotest. The event will be based at the clubs very own headquarters the City North Hotel, just off junction 7 on the M1. Sign on for the event will be at 8am for both drivers and marshals alike. The format for this year’s event will be similar to the event run in October of last year but with the recession in mind clerk of the course Conor Crowley has doubled the number of test venues to provide competitors with even more value for their hard earned entry fee. “We are building on the success of last year’s event and have doubled the tests to really challenge the regular drivers, a big thank you to all who have provided their facilities for the event” said Conor Crowley COC. Venues for the event will include Murphy's Quarry, Carbery's Sand & Gravel, Philipstown, Windmill Farm, Windmill Lane, Doherty's Quarry, Tallon's Farm and Bellewstown Racecourse.
The tests will be a real challenge for both man and machine by utilising both the loose and concrete surfaces and due to the age restriction on competing cars being lifted all types of test cars can be entered on the day. A great day’s entertainment and competition is guaranteed an event not to be missed. Regulations for the event are available on www.almc.ie , there are still some places left, and entry fee is just €75. If you cannot compete but would still like to get involved then why not marshal. If you are interested in marshalling or helping out on the day please call Conor on 086 851 3313.

Hi Noel, I imagine the reason Owen is looking for a word version is in order to e-mail you the entry... An online form would be very handy...

Quick question folks, do I make the draft payable to Susan Storan or the ALMC?

Hi All,
All payments for the ALMC MVAT are to be made payable to: ALMC Motor Club Limited
If it is easier, you can do a bank transfer:
ALMC Motor Club Limited
AIB 60 Clonskeagh Road Clonskeagh Dubin 14
NSC: 93-11-87
Account: 30685052
Noel for Susan Storan mvat@almc.ie

Thanks Noel, the bank transfer option is ideal as it saves a lot of hassle.
I'm just waiting on my MI licence, once I get that I'll submit my application by email and send the money by bank transfer.
J.
