Best type of Brantz sensor for a Mini? |
|
I'm looking at fitting a Brantz sensor to a Mini. I'm curious to know what others have done. I'm more inclined to go for a wheel sensor but I'm not sure where the best place to fit it is.
Any advice welcome

I put mine one the back wheel so wheel spin wont effect it. As far as I can remember I made a little mounting bracket and welded it to the backplate, so that it senses the back of the wheel studs (on the inside of the hub).

Thanks Damian, I never thought to check for mounting locations on the back but it makes more sense. I'll have a look over the weekend and see if I can find a spot before ordering the part.

Also the cable from the Wheel Sensor should be protected from flying debris by placing inside Plastic Tubing. (I used Beer Line Tubing)
