As it's an Endurance Trial I would imagine preferences on seedings were given to Endurance spec cars.

Well meself and owen are 36, and we're in an endurance car (mind you, one that is hanging on by the skin of its teeth, so many parts about to go). So there isn't any preference to endurance cars.

So long as the people in front are quick enough not to get in your way on the long tests, all should be OK. If not, its going to be a disaster..

True that, but in my case, I dont fear the volvo catching anything. That point would hold water at the top of the feild though.

It can be equally true further back.
The issue is how passing is going to be dealt with ; and should be so advised at the drivers briefing.
The event is under a sporting code. Like the rugby scrum; people should be able to compete so the instruction should be move over. There can be these issues after splits and merges, also.

Final Instructions |
|
The Final Instructions are now available on www.almc.ie
With a capacity entry of 60 cars, we would ask that some competitors avail of the Friday night scrutiny option ( 7:30pm until 9:30pm) and the remainder on Saturday ; which starts at 7am and finishes at 10am SHARP.
If you choose to come on Friday night, please email Deirdre : eventsec@almc.ie to advise.
All cars will have a "mini logbook" completed by the scrutineers. They will also carry out a noise test at scrutiny and again before the night section of the event.

Yeah, me too. Fantastic event. All of us Cento guys loved it and none of us, bar young Barrable(!) had done anything similar before. I know Frank O'D since my karting days and he could not have been more helpful in the weeks coming up to the event, even briefing our navs the night before the event and chatting to them during the event to make sure they were all ok. All this on top of all the work setting up the route etc! Well done that man! And to the ALMC, thanks for a great day out. As one of our guys said to me, it's the best €175 he ever spent!
Looking forward to the next one. The centos seem well able for it, the only issues we had were a holed rad (M Cullen) and a damaged alternator (M Kelly) and one or two of them didn't do too bad either!
