23rd Mar 2011: TDC Navigation Treasure Hunt

Great night, thanks a million to Ian for the lessons and Paul for results as well as all the marshals who helped out. If there's one thing I learnt tonight, it's mainly that Richard is better at pushing a wheelbarrow than me!

A big thank you to Ian and his merry band of helpers for another great fun and educational evening. I wont attempt to thank them all by name because there seemed to be a cast of thousands !
That fountain in front of the hotel will never look the same again having pushed 25 stone of driver around it ! (yeah I know he's probably not 25 stone but He felt like it!)
I would love to suggest there should be one of these every month ( a treasure hunt not a wheelbarrow push !) but I'm afraid if I do I might be asked to help with the organising !

Another great event. The lesson at the start was very helpfull. Wheel barrow test was brilliant, thankfully the navigator was able to drive for this bit tho... Very Happy

Two MAX's for missing clues. Went blazing past too quick and could'nt find them ! Just proves its the car all the time and not me that goes that fast ! !

Thanks to Ian, Eamonn, Felix and all the marshalls. Though FL giving us a pylon on the wheelbarrow test makes me think I'm not paranoid : yis ARE out to get me !

Please keep involved : a couple of drivers are looking for navigators for 9th April event ; and who knows from there ?

any chance some of these treasure hunts/nav classes could be held on a Saturday afternoon?? Would love to get to some but mid week isn't possible
