Hey, just wondering where do people normally practise this? I imagine it is illegal in any kind of public area..

Generally speaking, practise is done by competing in events. TDC club members are very approachable, and are more than happy to assist in teaching new comers to the sport.

If you are lucky enough to have your own private car park, that helps.

My best advise is to start competing and take it from there. If you're worried about how you'll look, everybody had to start out at some point, and regardless of how difficult is looks, it's amazing how quickly you'll pick up the basics.

U'll never get practice like you do when competing. Nothing comes close. With the amount of events throughout the year you could get lots of practice! Sure between the hewison and ni champ theres somthing like 25 events a year. Plus all the club and munster events
