All drivers who got their entry in before Sunday are now on the list. As it turns out it's really too many cars, but so be it. We really need to get the cars going as quick as possible so please arrive early. To speed things up I am posting the tests in order that drivers can learn them in advance.

Absolutely no triple driving will be allowed.

Test 1

Ladies and Gentlemen.

Guy is correct : there will be a lot goin on. So we NEED your cooperation to get everyone through all of the tests ; and its the newcomers and beginners who must NOT let themselves slip back down the running order

1) Please print and familiarise yourselves with the tests in advance : and minimise hanging around time.

2) The protocol is place your car, and keep moving it up, the queue until your turn comes. BE READY TO THEN GO, IMMEDIATELY !

NO SKIPPING OR QUEUE JUMPING ! ! !

Double drivers : You let the next car start and then YOU drive off the test and around to join the TOP of the queue. DO NOT GO BACK ONTO THE TEST AS THERE WILL BE ANOTHER CAR STARTED ! !

Other drivers please note : THIS IS THE PROCEDURE.

With you cooperation this can work, and the aim is to get everyone through the tests.

PLEASE ARRIVE AS EARLY AS YOU CAN AS WE ALSO WANT TO START WITH EXTREMEM PROMPTNESS ! ! !

Tim

To help to speedy running of this event could the following be taken on board;

• Could all one day licence applicants please be ready for sign on by 16:30. The paper work for this can take some time.
• Could all other competitors be ready to sign-on promptly at 17:00.
• As this event is over subscribed, could all experts entering, refrain from starting at 17:00. This event is in the interests of beginners, and TDC would like to give priority to them. Your compliance is appreciated.
• Double driving only, no triple driving.
• If double driving, one driver completes a lap before second driver starts his/her lap.
• Competitors will be started in groups of 20. This will be on first come first serve basis. Once the first group has completed 2 laps, the second 20 will be given time cards. This will be at the discretion of the organisers.
• Please park in pitch and putt car park and take care entering/leaving.
• Marshalls will be instructed to keep competitors moving at a decent pace, please take this on board as it is in the interest of the event.

Thank you for observing and enjoy your event.

I'm not familiar with the area, can anyone tell me where the closest service station is so I can get some air for the tyres?

J, theres a Maxol just down the road heading towards Dundrum, it is the opposite direction to which you would turn at the crossroads just at the farmyard. Alternatively, just pump them up before you leave and be very careful if it's wet!

Fantastic event! The tests were excellent and it was amazing to see that many cars run in such a small area! Great work from the TDC!! Smile

Thanks to Damo for help starting the Mini while I tried to fix the timing after it decided to wander during the event! Very Happy
