BADMC Autumn Lanes Rally Results 2011

Great tests, great weather and a really well organised event made it a very enjoyable day out. Many thanks to all the marshals and organisers on running this top event.

Congratulations to Will Corry on his well earned and convincing win.

Ian McCulloch did a great job Navigating me through all the tests but unfortunately we didn't finish as I had a coming together with a kerb on the third run through the Dalmont test, bending the front suspension in the process. Thanks to the generosity of Frank Lenehan we got home driving the red Starlet with my car on the back of Franks trailer.

I'm really looking forward to taking part in this event again next year.

I have to say that of all the "lanes rallies" Laura and I have done this year this has to be the best one with a great selection of lanes, tests etc - 23 in total. We had great fun sliding the Escort this way and that and apart from kissing one barrel on the last test we managed to avoid all the walls and hedges for a change. Many thanks to the CoC and all the marshals and helpers for a great day out.
