 Dec 10th: Magherafelt Lanes Rally |

For anyone interested in another Lanes event, the Magherafelt and District Motor Club have announced details of their event to be held on December 10th
Event format
Drive to the rally
10 + tests
All tests tarmac or concrete lanes
Simple tulip diagram navigation
Single loop so minimal road miles
Tests repeated immediately just join back in the queue (to reduce road miles)
Scrutiny 9.30
First car home approx 4.30

Details of tests
the plan at this stage is
start wee pats bar Swatragh
1 farmyard (Swatragh)
1 farm lane (Tobermore)
a road section with 30mins extra so everyone can grab a sandwich / refuel if required (this goes through Draperstown)
4 tests in Davagh forest (each more than a mile long)
repeat 4 Davagh tests
1 farm lane
1 farmyard
back to pub for a pint
Remember all tests tarmac or concrete
road miles have been kept to an absolute minimum
and test mileage isn’t bad
There will be stop boxes / code boards on almost all of the stages.
penalties for missing either will be quite harsh, as we need to keep the overall speed to 30mph average
However the stop boxes and code boards will be well marked so there is no excuse for missing them.

entry already in for this tho is that all the tests there will be? 12 tests doesnt seem too many compared to normal lanes events or are these just the ones you know of?
