What is the story with car insurance for multi venue. Do you need a policy on the car being used. The fella i will be doubling with would be covered from his everyday policy through open driving, is this allowed, what proof do we need to be allowed enter with this insurance?

IRDS insurance is compulsary on all Multivenue autotests now. It is about 15 euro on top of your entry fee. You don't need your own insurance once you've signed on. You need a letter of acceptance from IRDS. You can get the form from Motorsport Ireland.

It covers you from the time you sign on until the event is finished. So you need your own insurance to get to the event or trailer it.
