Howiyz!
Im a bit new to all this but I have met some of you before navigating on some of the multi venues for Karl. He persuaded me to get my own Starlet and start out so we are in the process of getting the car all sorted and Im just looking for some Tips/advice.
It's all stripped out in the back, steering knob on the wheel, 13' steelies for the back and either 13 or 14 alloys on the front. I also serviced it and its getting to new (second hand) shocks on the front as the other ones were leaking oil! Just put a front strut brace on it aswell and am keeping my eye out for a cheap rear one!
Is their any advantages to a 13 inch wheel on the front to a 14? I have two 13's but it seems they are hard and pricey to get tyres for. I'm looking at getting 4 14' alloys at the weekend to use them and have 2 spare. Any thoughts or ideas on what I should be doing here
Also is their anything I can do in relation to a cold air feed to the airbox or some sort of induction kit? I looked at cone filters ect but from owning an Integra a few years back I found that putting on a filter like that uncovered in the engine bay made it sound good but it actually lost power due to heat soak!
Any advice is much appreciated!
Rory

Rory, welcome to the forum. Always good to see a new face at events.
If you give me a call on 0872073643 I should be able to point you in the right direction with the car
