starlet nct |
|
That hateful nct anniversary is up on my starlet. Normally I put the full interior back into car for the test. I'm getting more lazy and am wondering how much of the interior can be left out for an nct? Is it a case of if it's not there, it can't be tested?
if I take out back seat and seat belts, interior trim, carpet etc is it still ok?
Thanks

Mine passed with just front trim and seats in. Rear seats and belts were out but I think if you have seats you must have belts and vice versa. Got an advisory that no rear seats were fitted but it's not a fail. Then again I suppose it can depend on the tester and centre, I went to Greenhills.

Thanks. Getting a few messages from people that the rear seats have to be in and others that passed with seats out. It seems like what suits the tester on the day passes. Safest bet would be to put seats and belts back in.

Worst case scenario is they'll fail it for not having them and it'll be a visual retest, so not too much hassle as long as everything else is in order.
