For the second year in a row, TDC will run a slightly more relaxed style of event in the form of a classic/vintage/competition car fun run; The March Hare Run. As before, Larry has a few tricks up his sleeve for this one...

Similar to last year, the route will take in some of the most scenic parts of South Dublin and North Wicklow and all types of cars are encouraged. We would hope to see some of the lesser used machinery that we know some TDC members have lurking in the garages and that need the cobwebs blown off. We also had a few two wheeled machines last year and these are of course encouraged once again.

All proceeds from the event will go towards two charities that do exceptional work in the homeless community; The Salvation Army and Merchant's Quay. A minimum donation of €20 per car is the entry fee.

We are also lucky to have some much appreciated support again from Broderick's who last year provided us with some delicious treats at the start of the event to keep us all going.

The start location will once again be Stepaside Golf Centre by kind permission of Rosa Roe and will finish in Charlesland Golf & Country Club in the SoBe Restaurant who are well prepared for us this year and will be opening specially to provide refreshments and food at the finish.

I'll get regs and entry form uploaded in the coming days but in the mean time any expressions of interest can be directed towards myself or Larry Mooney.

Thanks for the great feedback Leo, really glad you enjoyed it.

On behalf of Larry, myself, and all of TDC we'd like to extend a huge thanks to all who participated and donated on Sunday. We really hope you all enjoyed yourselves. All was made a lot easier and more enjoyable with the best day of weather in months.

Your kind donations raised nearly €1300 for our two charities Merchants Quay Ireland and The Salvation Army. Big thanks to Broderick's for all the delicions treats and of course our fantastic start/finish locations Stepaside Golf Centre and Charlesland Golf and Country Club.

We'll do it all again next year but for now thanks again and we hope to see you all in Arklow on the 8th of April for something a little more high octane...

Philip

Thanks to Larry and Philip for a great fun day out. Haven't been down some of those roads in years.... Much faster then though!

The Light 15 brought back special memories on a special day for us!

Looking forward to the next run. Well done. V & P
