Hello all,
I am a lapsed TDC member living in Germany and I think your revised website is great. Keep up the good work.
My interests are oldtimer rallyes and modern slaloms. I have a bias for a certain leading German sport car manufacturer (soon to join the volkswagen family).
Slaloms are the nearest thing to an autotest I can find here but they never use reverse gear. However if you can imagine an autotest on a runway hitting the revlimiter in 2nd gear, you get the picture. Actually you can get more pictures on www.vgs-slalom.de
Have fun,

One for you. In the photo section Club History, there is a picture of a red bucket mini special. Is it the bro or Tricky driving ?

You'd like it better. A lot of events have gone back to old style. Multi-venues are in farm and factory yarsd , with driving on the roads between tests. Just like pre '86.
Retro trials are a mixture of night navs and tests: some longer tests and regulatory are also included
All good fun.
Would you not sort something and maybe do the event a christmas: ? When you might be home. Check with Felix if you are eligible for a one-day competition licence.
Lots for you still, in the club.
Piers, our webmaster has it building nicely, Peter Boyd (Peespeed.com) does photos and Ian McCulloch the Turbine and more photo's
Keep in touch
Regards
Tim

Would love to. Thought they were always closed events though. The Slatequarries overnight Tulip map run is on that weekend. That will be a fantastic weekend. They're not telling anyone where the overnight hotel is! You have to find it yourself using the Tulip maps. I'm going to drive this time, my brother will navigate. You should think about it for something different to do

Hi, all! This should be my intro but I'll so that later.
No, David, the red one, as photographed, was GPK himself, built out of a Clubman he had. I recall giving myself a sever burn on the arm whilst welding a modififed tunnel for the gearshift. Mine was originally bottle green, then got tarted up to the Atlantic Blue!
